This is the website of the German music project Apoptose.

Apoptose takes protection of your personal data very seriously. Following you find some info how we handle the data of people who get in touch with us by email or who enter the website for information purposes or just for fun.

Email contact
When you get in touch with us by sending an email, we will save information like your name and email address or phone number to answer you enquiry. We delete that information as soon as it is not necessary anymore to handle your request.

Website visitors
By entering the website the webhosting company 1&1 (https://www.1und1.de) will get information that your browser transmits to the server automatically. This is data that is necessary to display the website in a proper manner. It contains:

  • your IP address
  • date and time of your visit
  • which page(s) you access
  • transmitted amount of data
  • the website you visited before
  • type of browser, language setting and version number
  • operating system of your device

YouTube and other social media widgets
On the website we use YouTube videos of our music via special plugins by youtube that allow watching them directly on our website. The videos come from https://www.youtube-nocookie.com. That means that they all are displayed in data protection mode. So as long as you don't play the videos youtube.com will get no information about you. When you click on a video to watch it YouTube will get the same info that we mention above plus the url of our site where you clicked on the video. We don't have any influence of this data transmission. YouTube provides more info on that in their own privacy notice that you find at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.

We also use SoundCloud's embed players on the website. SoundCloud may collect usage data for analytics purposes. More specifically SoundCloud collects the IP address when the page is loaded, and if someone actively clicks play SoundCloud collects event logger information for reporting. That is if the person is anonymous or a signed in SoundCloud user, what they are clicking (if not opted our of analytics/ are an anonymous user) and how long they play for. We use Spotify's embed players on the website. Spotify may collect usage data for analytics purposes when the page is loaded and even more when you actively click play e.g. technical data which may include URL information, cookie data, your IP address, the types of devices you are using to access or connect to the Spotify Service, unique device IDs, device attributes, network connection type (e.g. WiFi, 3G, LTE, Bluetooth) and provider, network and device performance, browser type, language, information enabling digital rights management.
